Back of bus from Dambulla – Sigiriya Rock
Men come on buses in Sri Lanka to sell educational books. Sri Lankans have an ambiguous head bobble motion. Sometimes a stroll down the lake trail or conversation with locals surpasses the significance of simply visiting a tourist site for a photo opp.
After visiting Sigiriya Rock, I decided to wander around a few side roads on foot when a pack of dogs started to chase me. I pick up rocks and a big stick which did the trick to scare them off.
